What we collect

We collect the information needed to operate Um Blip: account identifiers, username, optional name, bio and profile image, videos and captions you choose to post, votes, follows, blocks, reports, and product interaction analytics.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and improve Um Blip, personalize your account experience, keep the community safe, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers and advertising

Firebase provides authentication, database, file storage, and analytics services. Google Mobile Ads may process device information, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and advertising identifiers when legally permitted. Um Blip initially requests non-personalized ads and applies age-appropriate treatment for users aged 13–17.

Where required, we ask for advertising consent. You can review or change applicable advertising choices in Um Blip under Privacy & Safety.

Safety and moderation

Blocks and reports help protect the community. Videos are checked for explicit content before becoming public. Content that fails review or receives multiple independent reports may be hidden while it is reviewed.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and delete your account from Um Blip’s settings. Account deletion removes your account and Um Blip videos, subject to limited records we may retain for security, fraud prevention, moderation, or legal compliance.

Children

Um Blip is intended for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the service.
